Our Story

We all know what it means to have a home -- a place to return to everyday, where your things are and where you can sleep at night, comfortably and securely.

Imagine if you didn't have a place to sleep and you were also trying to get through college.  Imagine if you had to couch surf, or work full time or take up church collections to try to get your rent paid every month.  Imagine having to turn down a valuable professional opportunity because you could not afford the rent?

Some of you don't have to imagine.  You only have to remember. This is a reality for so many HBCU students -- and you can join us in helping them.

Receiving this scholarship is not just a financial relief but a validation of my hard work and dedication to my education. As a housing scholarship recipient, I am genuinely grateful for the opportunity to focus more on my studies and internship without worrying about accommodation expenses.
